TallyCoin: Tracking Chores 1.16.1

TallyCoin is an application designed for the purpose of task management, chore tracking, and reward monitoring.

As a parent, I initiated my children into the realms of work ethic and financial responsibility when they were as young as 3 years old. It all began with providing them opportunities to earn rewards by completing chores around the house, a system we referred to as "coins" in our household. Tasks such as setting the dinner table were assigned a value of 1 coin, while loading the washing machine earned them 2 coins. My children utilized these coins to purchase items of their liking, with the exception of candies, instilling in them valuable lessons on income, expenses, savings, debt management, and pricing in the process.

While trying out various methods such as pen and paper, whiteboards, and several tally applications to keep track of chores and rewards, we found that although these tools were effective, they lacked certain conveniences that we desired. This necessity spurred the development of TallyCoin.

Created with love by a mother and her two children - where the mother handles the programming aspect while her children contribute valuable user feedback - TallyCoin is an ongoing project that aims to continuously enhance user experience. The creators are open to feedback for further improvements.
